Dr. Cziraki is always excited about meeting new patients! The first visit to our office will consist of a thorough examination and discussion of potential treatment options. This important 60-minute visit will give us insight into your orthodontic needs. You will complete a Health History form, and complimentary digital photos and panoramic x-ray will be taken to determine a personalized treatment plan. Your orthodontic treatment plan will be discussed in detail with Dr. Cziraki and our Treatment Coordinator.
As we know, your time is valuable and treatment is indicated by your exam findings, therefore it may be possible to take diagnostic records at this initial appointment. These records will include digital x-rays, photos and impressions.
During the initial examination for each patient, we will address the following questions that cover the basics of orthodontic treatment. We encourage you to ask questions as well:
Is there a condition present that orthodontics can address? Is treatment needed now or should treatment be delayed until appropriate growth, tooth eruption or other factors have occurred?
What are the treatment options to correct the problem? Do any permanent teeth need to be removed? How long will treatment take? How much will it cost? What are my payment options?
We feel it is important to analyze each patient's specific needs because in-depth, personalized planning leads to superior results and patient satisfaction. We insist that our patients leave our office with a clear understanding of their specific needs, what the treatment will consist of and how long it will take. As always, we will answer any additional questions.
